I'd like to see OO add "Recent Documents" to the quick start menu.

Agree; that would make QuickStarter more 'utile'... of course, it wouldn't be 
bad if user could add new lines to Quickstart menu (MRUD...)

So far it seems to me that there isn't particularly tight integration with the
new Windows 7 taskbar.  I could be wrong I've only been using it a few days.

Some programs show you recent documents when right-clicking on them, or hovering
over them in the Start menu.  OOo doesn't do this.

However, that would still require an extra step, so I too would like to see
"Recent Documents" (or "Open Recent") in the QuickStart menu.  Windows 7
prompted me to come and post this, but I've long wished for it in Windows XP too.
