Description Frank Schönheit 2005-08-25 11:51:06 UTC
when creating a new database (File|New|Database), the advanced option "Append
table alias name" (see
http://dba.openoffice.org/specifications/Data_Source_Property_Dialog.sxw) is set
to "on", and cannot be changed later on.
This means that for those databases, which target more the unexperienced and
novice than the expert users, SQL statements generated in the query designer
have an unnecessary complexity.

Setting this option to "off" by default for those database types should make
queries generated by OOo slightly more understandable to the unexperienced user.
