Description mrosin 2005-08-09 15:42:32 UTC
Copying text from one part of an outline and pasting as unformatted text
elsewhere (not copying the leading outline number) will still start the line
with a number that may be unrelated to the original or new number with which the
line starts.
RH9, 2.4.20-20.9

I can confirm this with OOo1.9.122 on WinXP.
To reprocude:
(1) Write the following text
One
Two
Three
Four
Five
Six
some lines dummy text
(2) Mark One to Six and assign list-style "Numbering 1".
(3) Mark from before "Three" to behind "Four" and copy it to clipboard.
(4) Go behind the line after the dummy text
(5) Edit - Paste Special - Unformatted text

Expected behaviour:
You get lines
Three
Four
or (less good but explainable) you get lines
3. Three
4. Four
(with pure text "3." and "4.")

Watched behaviour:
You get lines
1.Three
2.Four

(The numbers "1." and "2." are no numbering-style but pure text.)

MRU->HBRINKM: copying some paragraphs from a numbered list and pasting somewhere
else as "unforatted text" will always restart the (plain text) numbers of these
paragraphs.
