Description rbean 2005-08-08 03:09:58 UTC
In the User Guide for version 2.x (user_guide_draft.pdf), in Chapter 3 under the
heading "Copying Styles into Documents": The command Format>Styles>Load has been
moved in the beta version-- it's no longer in the Format menu (the online help
has already been updated to reflect this change). You can get to it by clicking
on the icon in the upper right corner of the Stylist, which brings up a menu.
You can also add it to any menu by using Tools>Customize>Menus.

I still can see that in current document under a.m URL:

Chapter 3: Managing Text Documents With Writer
- PDF document page 111, Text page 79
- Heading "The Advantages of the Styles and Formatting Window"
- Current wrong text: "text document by selecting “Format > Styles > Load.
- should be: "text document by selecting “Format > Styles and Formatting >
Button 'Update Style', Pulldown 'Load ...'

Wrong issue. Closing. If you see items that you think need changing, post them
to the issue listed on http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals.
The document is still in draft so little nit-picks like these need to be brought
to the attention of those working on the document. Chasing random issues is not
productive.
