Opened in Openoffice Build 1.9.m104 very large MSWord file.  Size 46 MB, 1218
pages ~450 screenshots, few hundred tables.  The file took ~47 minutes to open.
 Peak Virtual mem was about 1.8 GB, peak mem was ~300MB.

Trying to "Save As".  Click on File->SaveAs.  The menu closes, but save as
dialog does not appear.  By some coaching (do not remember detail, mabe just
using regular Save) dialog appears giving me yes/no choice and explanation that
yes measn saveing in MSWord, No means saving without potential loss of
formatting and such.

At that moment Openoffice crashed which is subject of another report (to be
created in few minutes).

I can repeat the operation if you provide instructions what to look for, save
debug info ... 
Unfortunately the doc is proprietary and cannot be prrovided as evidence  :(

please attach the offending document to this issue, so that we can reproduce and
fix the problem here. You can also send the document directly
(mru@openoffice.org) for the case it contains confidential data. Feel free to
re-open the issue when you've done.

MRU->FLR:the problem is not really reproducable, but the stack has already been
submitted a few times. The stack ID is 195312; but it can be also found in
internal task #123463. Maybe you can see something from the stack; but if not,
we'll have to discuss the target...
The sender of the attached file mentioned, that he tried to open the file via
Thunderbird 1.0.2 and crashed. But this only happened at the very first attempt.

MRU->FLR: o.k. I think it is better to have this as two seperate bugs. This one
should only handle the performance issue, the other (Issue 50256) should handle
the crash.
I will give you the document via Mail, please keep it confidential and delete
when issue solved. Thanks a lot.

attached document opens and saves instantly in OOo 2.2 alpha (build m1).

Please review if issue is solved.

Retested with OOO3.0Beta2
Still a problem.

On my laptop Dell D610 it takes about an hour to open that document using
OOO3.0Beta2..

Using MSWord 2007 it takes few seconds for first page to appear.  It takes about
1min 40 sec to finish repagination.
