Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 49526
When Repeating an "Insert special character" function, the font of the special character is not taken into account
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
If you insert a special character using a font (like WingDings), then move the cursor to an area of the document surrounded by text of a different font (like Arial), then go to the edit menu and choose "Repeat: Insert special character", the character is inserted using the surrounding text font (Arial) instead of the font of the special character previously inserted (WingDings)
hi, cannot reproduce with m103 on SuSE 9.3, a lot of fixes have happened since beta2.0 == m79, so there are changes it really was fixed in the meantime.
sorry, forgot to give the download URL: http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html
Hello, Perhaps the problem is OS specific - the problem still exists in 1.9 m104 (just downloaded) -- I am running Windows 2000 SP 4 I will upload a document that shows result of the "Edit/Repeat: Insert Special Character" in a different area of text

MRU->DVO: as described, repeating an "insert special" process won't assign the desired font to the character.
