Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 49038
Assigning list style to heading styles are not listed in Navigator
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:25:50 UTC
Hi, When assigning a numbering to a header style, it makes all the paragraph of that style diseappear from the Navigator. This occurs in m100, but worked correctly on m79. How to reproduce: - Insert a few paragraph, makes some "Heading 1" (You can see them in the navigator) - Edit the "Heading 1" style, go to Numbering tab, and assign for example, "Numbering 1". - All the "Heading 1" paragraph are not selectable one the Navigator anymore. - If you promote some other heading as "heading 1", it will diseappear too. Correct behaviour is that the navigator keep showing your layout correctly, like in m79. Thanks
MRU->OS: Though a Heading got a different numbering independent from the outline by assigning a List style, it should be still listed in the Navigator. Heading paragraphs where the number has been deleted manually are also listed there, so it should be consistent behaviour.
.
I have the same problem in m100 however I didn't have the problem in m95. I set the numbering slightly differently: - create some paragraphs with Heading styles (visible in navigator) - via the "Bullets and Numbering" dialog box (from right click menu on one of the headings) select an outline style and apply it - All of the headings are no longer visible in Navigator
ok. I eat my words. It doesn't work in m95, at least it doesn't anymore. :( I could've sworn it worked yesterday. However, despite the seeming problem, there is one way to apply numbering and bullets without the headings disappearing from the navigator. By using the "Numbering on/off" and "Bullets on/off" it seems to work.
I can confirm it under M103 / pjanik build / WinXP / HU Could you set the target to 2.0, please?
may be a duplicate to issue 42787.
Considering the effort, the priority, the risk and our resource planning I've to retarget this issue to OOo Later.
It seems the different modifications about outline management have fixed this bug. It may be closed now (issue cannot be reproduced on 2.1 under XP).
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
