Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 48953
Show mode in Stasus Bar
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
If I press F2 I can switch between Edit mode and Write mode: it would help to read which is the active mode in status bar.

I tried again in ver. 2.4 and the problem is still present. Worse than this: if I press F2 (in order to modify a cell, or alter the behavior of editing a cell) not also the active mode is not written in Status Bar, bat appear (and disappear) the word INS as if I pressed INS (but I didn't). I hope this will be improved in ver. 3. Thank you.
