After succesful installation as root after normal user ./setup run, it opens two
maximized windows, one with OO logo second completely blank. After few blind
ENTER pushes instalaltion goes throught and OO is installed for user.
Then when OO is started with ./soffice, it opens writer window, but this is
useless because it has only few points wide. Also all of message windows that
occasionally appear are blank, only buton frames are visible.
To me it seems as (also) some troubles with fonts.
Also I see this bug as one related to bug #4507. Ones I also find somebody
complainig about same troubles on Debian but I can not find it anymore.

Same situation is in KDE, GNOME etc. No differences.

So, I found what is causing this: when in RH7.3 is instaled Arial
truetype font from MS, OO does not render its "basic" (menus/messages
etc.) font..

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
