Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 47770
Strings in module filter
Last modified: 2005-04-22 15:58:46 UTC
Hi, in to-be-announced m95, there are these issues: 1. "Global documents" are called Master documents in the rest of the OOo suite, but: pavel@pavel:~/.ooo/ooo_SRC680_m95_src/filter> grep -r "Globaldokument" *|grep lang|grep en-US source/config/fragments/filters/StarWriter_3_0__StarWriter_GlobalDocument__ui.xcu: <value xml:lang="en-US">StarWriter 3.0 (%productname% Globaldokument)</value> This looks like germanism... 2. The same with "Global Document": pavel@pavel:~/.ooo/ooo_SRC680_m95_src/filter> grep -r "Global Document" *|grep lang|grep en-US source/config/fragments/filters/StarWriter_4_0__StarWriter_GlobalDocument__ui.xcu: <value xml:lang="en-US">StarWriter 4.0 (%productname% Global Document)</value> source/config/fragments/filters/StarWriter_5_0__StarWriter_GlobalDocument__ui.xcu: <value xml:lang="en-US">StarWriter 5.0 (%productname% Global Document)</value> 3. Isn't "Open Office" deprecated? pavel@pavel:~/.ooo/ooo_SRC680_m95_src/filter> grep -r "Open Office" *|grep lang|grep en-US source/config/fragments/filters/writerglobal8_writer_ui.xcu: <value xml:lang="en-US">Open Office Text</value>
set target.
PM agreed to set new prio P1 for this task.
The filters "StarWriter 3/4/5 StarWriter Global" must not be translated realy ... because there names are fix. The name of "writerglobal8_writer" was changed to "OpenDocument Text".
OK in m96. Thanks!
