1. using OpenOffice 1.1.2 with X11 1.0 - Xfree 86 4.3.0 - eMac OS X 10.3.8
2. using OpenOffice about 8 months with no problem
3. working with several spreadsheets using copy and special paste into new spreadsheet
4. saved new spreadsheet & had to restart eMac
5. OpenOffice would not open and of my files
6. downloaded OpenOffice 1.1.2 and re-installed - files would still not open
7. downloaded and installed NeoOfficeJ - files open and appear to be okay
8. OpenOffice message reads:

OpenOffice.org cannot be started due to an error in accessing OpenOfice configuration data

Please contact your system administrator

9. any suggestion?

Due to short resources we wont touch this for OOo 1.1.x. For OOo 2.x this won't
happen
