In Anthony Barker's review of OO.o 2 beta
(http://www.xminc.com/mt/archives/000275.html) he mentions that manipulating an
image in Writer pops up the JRE Required window 7 times and each time needs to
be dismissed manually (picture: http://www.xminc.com/mt/archives/pres6.png).

If the user doesn't have a JRE set up this could be seriously annoying. How
about a `pop-up' pane that attaches itself to the top of the client area, as in
Firefox when it blocks pop-up ads, instead of multiple message boxes?

The Issue you raised is currently assigned to 'Requirements' pending review, but
has not been updated within the last 3 years. Please consider re-testing with
one of the latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been
addressed. Either use the recent stable version:
