Description jnoreiko 2005-03-20 21:49:54 UTC
If I drag-select several cells, I can drag them to move them.
The cells get shaded in black to indicate this is possible.

However, when I click on a single cell, it is only marked by a thick black
border. I can't find a way to drag it.

The only thing I've found to do is drag-select several cells, then while still
dragging, reduce the selection to the single original cell. Then it is shaded in
black and draggable... but this strikes me as a rather convoluted method.

Although issue 3875 is fixed, this bug still happen in 2.0.2

you have to press and hold Shift and click on the cell to select it (ctrl +
click works now too). Dragging a single cell just as it is is an enhancement
request and is covered by issue 10865.

closing as double to Issue 3875 as Shift Click selects the cell and after that
you can drag & drop it.

So when I click on a cell, it's not selected?
There are TWO types of 'selected', single select and multiple select? That's
totally insane behaviour. This is a usability bug.
