Description richlv 2005-03-14 17:40:06 UTC
open oo.org. create a new text document. choose "file->new->presentation". close
oo.org main window. click on "cancel" in presentation wizard.

oo.org remains in memory. another instance does not run, thus it seems to user
that oo.org "just stopped working"

in some cases oo.org crashes after these actions, but i haven't been able to
reliably reproduce crashing.

Reproducible. I have not only a simple "stays in memory" but a crash here.

cd: There is no easy fix as it depends on other fixes.
cd->as: As discussed this is the same bug as your internal one. Please take this
one for the community. As the internal bug is set to OOo 2.0.1, I will also set
this one to that target.
Comment 8 andreas.schluens 2005-03-16 10:58:24 UTC
The problem behind: This dialog was implemented as a modal one ... changed to
non modal mode (but not realy reimplemented) ... and now changed back to modal
mode.
Comment 9 andreas.schluens 2005-03-18 09:36:43 UTC
AS->WG: Please verify this task on the cws fwkfinal2 again. THX.

Note: This wizard is now in modal state again. Further you have to check ANY(!)
possible combination of using this dialog and trying to close the office. Closing of
the office must be not possible till this dialog was finished! Especiyl on unix you
have to check if now the dialog cames up on the same unix desktop then the office
resists. Ask me for further informations.

re-open issue and reassign to wg@openoffice.org
