Description kami911 2005-03-13 08:40:47 UTC
Why installer doesn't create shortcuts for opening, Documents and templates in
ooo program menu?
But I have better idea:
What about creating Icons installation wizard page with selectable elements to
create shortcuts to different place of system?
Options:
Create program group icons (all icons, enabled)

Create action icons in Start menu (enabled)
Create program icons in Start menu

Create action icons in Quickstart group
Create program icons in Quickstar qroup

--
action icons mean opening, Documents and templates icons

Thanks,
KAMI

Something should be done. I miss the older "SecondStartMenu" very much.

I think the OpenOffice QuickStarter button for only exit or disabling in the
future is not enough reason or funcionality to keep that space in the system area.

I never use it for that utility. However I think is good to keeo OOo precharger
for faster start.

If QuickStarter button will keep only this funtionality should be taked off and
included that function in "Tools->Options" menu.

That option is included in Tools->Options->Memory (to enable or disable OOo
charge during Start-up).

So I do not found any necessity to amintain using necessary space in System tray
for so unfrecuent action.

Different would be for opening blank documents, which I use almost everyday.
