Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 44441
New Callout Shapes
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:42:11 UTC
When I used PowerPoint (two years ago) I used most two types of callouts that are not available in Impress. Now you have added new callout shapes (some duplicated, see issue 44428), but I still miss two very powerful features: a) A callout with a poligonal line with TWO angles (now there is one with 1 angle). In addition the first two segmenst should be forced to be horizontal or vertical lines. b) A callout without borders around the text textbox. In fact I used almost exclusively a callout with a vertical border indicating the textbox. I suggest in OOo making the borders of the text box optional. Let the users select if they have a closed box, or just some borders (like in a paragraph). If that's not possible, then adding new drawing objects. In PPT they are separate objects in the toolbox. I am attaching a example. Enrique
