Description fergusmurray 2005-03-03 08:33:22 UTC
Hi,

We use mail merge to produce survey reports of PGM's.

We do this by generating a csv file from our survey software which contains
certain fields which we want to display in a word file. We then use Word's mail
merge feature to generates the completed report in Word.

We are unable to do this in openoffice as mail merge is locked into address
lists. A lot of people who use mail merge in Word don't just use it for letter
heads, they use it to produce data reports and not being able to select custom
fields means that I can't get people away from Ms Word !

Could the custom fields be added ?
Fergus.
