Description mariodebian 2005-02-19 14:58:27 UTC
I'm packaging openoffice.org-1.9.79-2 rpms to debian packages for personal
use. I'm newbie in debian packaging, simple use alien to convert rpm to
deb and uncompress deb, edit control file and repackaging again.
I'm doing this to learn about debian packages rules.

I suppose that openofficeorg-core0X are base system, it's right?

file /opt/openoffice.org1.9.79/program/libswui680li.so
is in packages:

openofficeorg-core05
openofficeorg-writer

¿what's the correct package that contain file?

=======================================
file /opt/openoffice.org1.9.79/program/resource/stt680en-US.res
is in packages:

openofficeorg-core08
openofficeorg-testtool

¿what's the correct package that contain file?

========================================
file /opt/openoffice.org1.9.79/program/ucpgvfs1.uno.so
is in packages:

openofficeorg-core02
openofficeorg-gnome--integration

¿what's the correct package that contain file?

=========================================
Another bug, in package openofficeorg-core07 the bash-script
/opt/openoffice.org1.9.79/program/resource/soffice
don't have apropiate permissions

----------  1 root root 6876 2005-02-14 19:22 soffice

possible patch:
chmod +rx soffice ???

I have repackaged openofficeorg-es too. (spanish language),
what about dicts?

How to make debian-menus ??

My personal repository of openoffice debian packages is:

http://idefix.eup.uva.es/paquetes/oo_1.9.79.2
I have patched partialy this bugs in my repository renaming conflictive
files.

Thanks
