Description malte_timmermann 2005-02-17 17:47:28 UTC
Listed in my certificates, also has a private key, but doesn't work
Comment 1 mmi 2005-02-22 07:47:33 UTC
The reason is that the certificate has an invalid serial number.

According to RFC 3280, A legal serial number should be positive, and in current
libxmlsec, negative serial number is not supported.

So StarOffice can't create signature by using such a certificate.

Malte,

I just integrated a new patch which Aleksey provided into our patch
(xmlsec1-1.2.6.patch), the problem is fixed now.

BTW, the libxmlsec module is using xmlsec 1.2.6 now. (Anyway, the patch 1.2.4 is
not deleted yet.)
