Description Unknown 2002-04-14 05:37:12 UTC
I use Window Maker, it is by far the best interface I've used for Linux. But on
all the computer I've tried OpenOffice 641d and 642, whenever I right click on
the title bar, go to Attributes, then set it to "Start Maximized" the program
bugs out and the settings aren't saved. This is the *ONLY* application I've ever
seen that has done that.

I do that primarily because it doesn't start up in the exact top-left portion of
the screen.

Actually, the majority of the settings in the attributes for Window Maker crash
OpenOffice out.

Changed component to "Framework"
Changed Prio to P3.
Reassigned to TM.
Comment 2 Joost Andrae 2002-11-28 13:38:44 UTC
JA->TM: please ask PL about it
Comment 3 thorsten.martens 2003-01-14 10:44:44 UTC
TM->PL: As talked about, I set you as owner.
Comment 4 philipp.lohmann 2003-01-14 14:28:09 UTC
I cannot reproduce that. What version of WindowMaker are you using ? I
tried with 0.80.1.
Comment 5 philipp.lohmann 2003-01-24 10:18:36 UTC
pl->jsk: perhaps you can reproduce this one. If not I'd tend to close it.
Comment 6 joerg.skottke 2003-02-12 11:34:09 UTC
JSK->PL: I've seen problems on Mandrake 9.0 with the current
Windowmaker installed. When OOo (or SO) come up in fullscreen mode,
only a small portion of the window is used. Usually resizing the
window once fixes the issue. No crashes, though.

I think this is a problem with Windowmaker, not the office since all
other windowmanagers get it right here. To me it looks as if
Windowmaker returns a faulty desktop-size (i have seen something
similar with HOB X11).
Comment 7 philipp.lohmann 2003-02-12 11:44:43 UTC
seems like WindowMaker has its own bugs.
