Description radekg 2005-01-02 15:50:57 UTC
I have Impress presentation from OpenOffice 1.1.2 and I have tried to import it
to OpenOffice 1.95.65 Impress. It crashed. Now I'm in recover/crash loop. If I
open Impress it tries to open crashed document. Then it crashes and says it will
recover next time. If I launch it again it recovers and crashes.. And so on.
Funniest thing is that I can see loaded document in the background. It looks ok.

Regards,
  Radoslaw

Confirming the Issue. I was even able to replicate the same by other impress
files created by OpenOffice 1.1.4.

And if you are struck in revover/crash loop, then delete the corresponding file
it is trying to recover and then launch OpenOffice.

Reassigned to Christian.

I can reproduce the bug.
The peview window is switch on when I load the file with so7 therefore I think
this bug depends on issue 34248.
I send this issue to you because AF is still on vacation.

The crash is already fixed by André with issue 33487.

You are correct, its the preview window and the resize crash as described in
issue 33487.
As this crash will occur while loading all old documents with open preview, I
will fix this as a P2 so its faster in the master.
