Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 38261
"Block" toolbars now open as "1 line toolbar"
Last modified: 2005-02-02 12:05:42 UTC
- New text document - Open a floating toolbar like one of the AutoShapes or Controls -> the specification (http://specs.openoffice.org/appwide/toolbars/Toolbar_content_spec.sxw) designed such toolbars as "block" toolbars (= icons placed over several rows). They all now appears as 1 line of icons
Stephan, I think this is more a VCL problem
If the corresponding XML files do not conatin any breaks the toolbars will be formatted as a single line. You have to add breaks to get multiple lines.
Hmm.... Yes, we specified it this way, but it seams that it does not have any effect. I've attached a sample tb config file. PLease copy it into your Writer config and give it a try in my m67 (Windows) the tb appears in floated state as a single line.

Changed owner to SSA
Because line breaks are treated as soft breaks now, (to allow for resizing regardless of breaks) the toolbar was always layouted as a single line. Now, if no user size was stored in the configuration, floating toolbars will initially use the number of lines according to the line breaks.

ssa->cj: installsets conataining this fix are available now (CWS vcl34). please use them to tweak your xml files so we can incorporate them in the same CWS.
CJ -> SSA: Please find attached the new config files. Please have a look at the Table Toolbar for write. This toolbar ignores the break. Thanks.
