Comment 2 christian.guenther 2004-11-25 14:09:13 UTC
I get also a crash when I change from the read only mode to the edit mode.
I think it sounds like it is the same bug.
Please have a look.

Crashing when switching to another view in an empty impress doc. Adapting title.
Switching to P1.
Comment 4 groucho266 2004-11-29 14:13:31 UTC
Duplicate, see below.
Comment 5 groucho266 2004-11-29 14:18:06 UTC
Issue 36322 describes the same problem. In short: while switching from one view
to another the controller of the frame is exchanged, too. The dispose() call
send to the old controller was not correctly handled. Following calls to the
controller did not result in DisposedExceptions. Accessing members (a reference
to a ViewShell object that was destroyed after the dispose() call) lead to the
crash.

Yes , but i36322 has only prio 3 and it is part of impress19 that is integrated
in m64. Why is the same problem still occuring? Reopened.
Comment 7 wolframgarten 2004-12-03 08:15:45 UTC
Reassigned to AF.
Comment 8 groucho266 2004-12-03 09:24:34 UTC
Can not reproduce this on Linux. According to issue 38341 this has been
reported for the m64 only on Solaris.
Comment 9 groucho266 2004-12-03 14:44:47 UTC
I am setting this bug as duplicate to another issue 38341 because:
1) the new crash has a different reason then the original crash for which this
issue was written.
2) the new crash is also covered by issue 38341 which has been written
specifically for it.
3) with the new crash this issue is not a duplicate of issue 36322 any more.
4) I can not remove the duplicate flag.
