Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 37541
Text selection in text boxes dependent on font "visibility"
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Text selection in text boxes dependent on font "visibility". If you want to select a block of text in a text box it cannot easily be done with only the arrow buttons. Start with cursor at upper left corner of text, then select rest of line and go down all with keyboard only. If part of the height of the last line descends below the bottom of the text box it cannot be selected with the down arrow but it works if you use shift-right arrow. It is as if OO cannot “see†a half-occluded line even though it is perfectly readable.
We should have the possibilty to scroll text in a frame with no AutoSize
