Description epte 2002-03-26 22:13:38 UTC
Hi all,

The relevant code seems to be in the graphics project/svx/source/options. I
picked this component as the best fit, though I may have been wrong.

I installed OO641C on NT 4.00.1381 with almost nothing except just the program
modules for writer and drawing (destination was a zip disk). I don't know if
this error occurs if I were to install with the usual setup (I have tried
redownloading it to check before going on vacation, but to no avail--foo on my
network connection). Every single time, when I go to the Tools menu, Options,
Drawing, and click on any of the four subitems there (General, View, Grid,
Print), it crashes. If I look behind the error dialog box, the subitem I
clicked does in fact load. It gives the error:

An unrecoverable error has occurred.

All modified files have been saved and can probably be recovered at program
start.

After which it complains:

The instruction at (num) referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could
not be "read".

After which it complains the same thing, except 0x00000048 could not be "read".

Two null pointer dereferences somewhere?

Cheers,
Erich Patrick T Enke

I was not able to reproduce the bug in version 641. Please check if it
occurs after reinstalling it. Thanks.
