Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 36096
Supress output of empty pages.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
I do some heavy computing, and need to output many pages each time. But sometimes these pages are empty. They don't contain numbers, but formula like this: =if(someSheet.A5 <> 0; someSheet.A5; ""). I don't want to output any pages that contain no numbers, so I choose File->Print, then select options and check "Supress output of empty pages". But this doesn't work -- pages that don't contain numbers still print. To work around this I have to copy all the data to another sheet (PasteSpecial->...) whithout fomulas. Then "Supress output of empty pages" works as expected. I would suggest not to print pages that don't contain printable characters.
Hi, this is not a bug but an enhancement request. The cells are not empty, so technically Calc works in the correct way. Frank
