Description huggi 2002-03-19 20:56:44 UTC
I have installed the current 642 release of openoffice.org in german on my
win2k client.

I was not able to get the current build number by using the writer app,
clicking > help > info about openoffice.org and then hitting ctrl + s + d + t
as described in the main help under the term "openoffice.org version".
Comment 1 huggi 2002-03-28 20:33:50 UTC
Problem appears also in 641D.
Comment 2 Martin Hollmichel 2002-03-30 15:10:35 UTC
peter, can you please have a look on this ?
Comment 3 pb 2002-04-02 12:39:48 UTC
The build-id key of the bootstrap.ini is not set.
Comment 4 huggi 2002-04-02 13:21:25 UTC
you got it!

If I change the "bootstrap.ini" on my "OpenOffice.org641\program"
directory from the old (empty) value to a new value, it appears on the
about form.

OLD_VALUE: buildid=
NEW_VALUE: buildid=641D für Microsoft Windows

Hmm, so who gonna fix this?

And is it possible to add more enviroment-variables on this box or on
another simple button to display more system information (for
display/print-out/e-mail)?! It would be great for us, because we can
tell the users to send us their enviroment variables (if a specific
problem appears).
Comment 5 Martin Hollmichel 2002-04-04 10:28:28 UTC
Oliver, I think this can be fixed by setting STAR_SOLARENVPATH in the
environment. I will try this.
Comment 6 Martin Hollmichel 2002-04-05 12:01:52 UTC
no, STAR_SOLARENVPATH was the wrong way.

I checked in lzip.cxx rev. 1.7.6.1 for adding -b to scpzip call. So
the build number is back again in about dialog. Workspacename is
still missing.

Oliver, can you please have a look on this ?

Nils, is this the fix we need for L10N framework ?
Comment 7 Martin Hollmichel 2002-04-10 16:40:25 UTC
