Description Unknown 2002-03-03 11:41:32 UTC
I have an XLS file... I'm submitting a seperate report for the problems opening
this file, but it shows a problem with the QuickStarter's Open Existing File
function.

If I select the attached file, nothing visible happens, whatsoever. No error
message explaining the file format is unknown, no message asking to choose a
file type, nothing at all.

I hope that "framework" is the correct assignment - I couldn't work out what
else might be a match for the Quickstarter application!

Drat - I'm using 641 from 2001-12-20 on Windows ME with patches from
windowsupdate.microsoft.com up to 2002-02-27. I do not have Excel
installed. The attached file is from a vendor, sent in email, not
generated on my system. I'm told by another recipient of the email
that it opens and works on Excel in MS Office 2000 Professional.

TM->OC: Sounds more to be a calc-problem than a file-open dialog
problem to me. So please have a look. Thanks !

The attached file is corrupted and couldn't be loaded (neither by
OpenOffice nor by ExcelXP)
