Hello.  I want to intall OOo on my WinXP notebook, but the 64MB downloaded 
file version 1.1.2 gives me an error message of corrupt/invalid file when I 
try to extract the file for installation.  Please help.  Did the file just 
download wrong?  Thanks.

Download problem appears to be with Indiana in USA.  Other download site was 
fine.  Thanks.  Please delete Issue 31346...it's a duplicate.  Sorry.

Hi 'reh4c',

we checked the file at
ftp://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/pub/openoffice/stable/1.1.2/OOo_1.1.2_Win32Intel_install.zip
and found it ok.
But thanks for the hint anyway.
Next time you may want to check the md5sum of your downloaded file.
