Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 2887
Commandlineoptions for (UNIX) Linux
Last modified: 2003-03-11 17:56:06 UTC
Hi! I miss the commandlineoptions from other programms at the OpenOffice. For example the --display option, to send the graphicle output under X to an X-Server on another PC. I think that option must exist if it was a real Linux(UNIX) application. I hope it was not so mutch work and it can be added to the next realice. Sven

I agree with Sven, there is a need for several command line options for integration with other Unix applikations. Just like abiword eg --to=FORMAT (format conversion) and --print=FILE/pipe (printing) Anders Wallenquist aw@kreawit.se
There is a document that describes the command line arguments that OpenOffice currently supports. http://framework.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList? dcID=211&action=download
possible duplicate, see related bug 3758 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3758 please fix the summary Commandlineoptions should be Command line options to help make searching easier. Does this need to be Linux only? perhaps change the OS and platform to all?
