Description fpcfilters 2004-03-16 18:00:02 UTC
When opening a URL in Internet Explorer 6, the OpenOffice ActiveX control has
problems with URLs containing apostrophes.

For instance the following HTML code snippet:
<a href='file://///Odin/valhalla/Brenda/Boar&#039;s Head W712 03-09-
2004.sxw'>Boar's Head W712 03-09-2004.sxw</a>

Gives the error:
"Error loading document
//Odin/valhalla/Brenda/Boar  file does not exist"

and then a pop-up says:
"An API call exited abnormally"

and then IE crashes.

Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks!

Confirmed. Using 1.9.77, if you place the test ODT file at C:\test's.odt and
then run the attached HTML page in IE, you will get a link. Clicking on the link
demonstrates the error.
