If you are writing a document and you want to draw a picture with the
functionality of OpenOffice-Draw, you have to insert an OLE-Object. I often need
this function, but there are many mouse clicks needed for this. (Insert ->
Object -> OLE-Object -> OpenOffice-Drawing).
Maybe you can create a "shortcut" for OLE-Objects of OpenOffice-Programs?
(Insert->OpenOffice-Drawing)

Also, if you have a logo or illustration saved on your harddisk for later use, 
you cannot insert it into Writer via 

Insert - Graphics - From file

but you have to open it and copy it into Writer. The draw file format is not an 
option in the file dialog.

This is hardly user friendly, eh? Please provide a fix for this, it is driving 
me nuts! :)

That's true, sajer!
But the main problem is, that the OO Writer has only a few drawing funcions, so
you have to insert an OLE-OpenOffice-Drawing. 
There are two possibilities to solve this problem:
1. Fewer mouse clicks to insert an OO-Drawing
2. More drawing functions in OO Writer
Is that right? :-)

latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been addressed.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
