Description quasirob 2004-03-05 11:18:53 UTC
I have Open Office 1.1.0 running on both win2K and the Linux version running
under Linux emulation in FreeBSD 4.9. Both do the following....

Opening the spreadsheet, I enter the following numbers into cells:

87104024
93160914
87303024
95986017
95987017
(theres more as well)

In each case the number looks fine in the cell, but if you look at it in the
input line (or save it to a text file and read it) it seems to get .0000001
appended, so it looks like this:

87104024.0000001
93160914.0000001
87303024.0000001
95986017.0000001
95987017.0000001

I have seen on a couple of occasions .0000002 being appended as well.

Hi Niklas,

strange thing this.

Please have a look. Just entering these numbers results in the addition of the
decimals.
