While building from scratch.
NPSDK cannot build due to the new requests for NOLIBSOLTARGET
must be changed to DEPOBJFILES in external/npsdk/sdfiles/makefile.mk

This is NOT an API issue.  API means "Application Programming Interface".

Never heard about NOLIBSOLTARGET od DEPOBKFILES. In the assumption 
that the 605 version in this bug's description is a bug itself (i 
wouldn't fix a bug in 605), could you please have a look at this ?

it's not a "605" issue as it can only appear in "641" and it's already
fixed in the tagged "OO641C" - see releases mailing list...
anyway it's fixed now in toplevel rev. 1.3
