Hi, 
I installed SO6 beta (English) under Windows XP Home edition (Dutch). The very 
first time after installing, I opened a Writer window, and chose menu file-
open. The application hung ("soffice not responding"). After having restarted 
the application, the file-open dialog worked.

Not a word processor issue. Changed the component.

Problem wasn`t reproducible with an actual version (641l4). Everything works fine.

Verified (found not reproducible) and closed.
