Description Unknown 2001-10-29 16:58:35 UTC
This is an issue with the file browser (or, "open/save dialog box", whatever you want to
call it) and affects at least Linux and maybe all other UNIX-like systems.

Hidden files and folders (e.g., ones beginning with a dot) should not be displayed by default.

A preferences setting or a button in the file browser could be used to display hidden files.

Comment 5 christian.jansen 2002-01-02 13:54:07 UTC
The current version (641x) hides these kind of files by default. It is
possible to open hidden files by entering the file name in the URL
field of the file open/save dialogue.
