Description fpedraza 2003-09-12 00:34:18 UTC
- Create array of objects
- Mirror object

What I suggest is improving the ability of Draw to behave as a (simple) 2D CAD
program.

Thanks a lot for considering.

how much do you think that function will attract more user to use OOo ?
because there is Qcad already
please explain more about your suggestion, why OOo must have that
Comment 3 fpedraza 2003-09-21 16:04:30 UTC
Maybe Qcad could be the main open source 2D CAD in the future, but I
think that powerful DWG/DXF viewing and some enhancements for simple
editing and printing could make OO the only program some technical
offices and professionals could need for all their document and
drawing needs. Also seem that other users demand some enhancements in
this line:

13907 Export to AutoCAD compatible file format
14428 Trim and snap tools
4219 Maximum page size is 120x120cm
19468 DXF import enhancement: layers (I opened this one also)
