Description marcusdaub 2001-10-04 13:41:24 UTC
in the formula-editor I can't put any parenthesis! In the commands-window there are parenthesis but in the normal text-windows there are something like bricks.
I assume it is a font-problem. Even if I choose for everything "Times new roman" there are no parenthesis.
If I want to insert in the formula some greek letters like epsilon, gamma, ... there are only briks.
So I can't use the formula-editor!
Should be there a special math-font? Which fonts should I have?

after src638 there have been two changes to the font OpenSymbol.ttf.
Now it is available in rev. 1.7. Anybody interested in testing this font may checkout the file from
installation/extras/source/truetype/symbol/opens___.ttf
