Description Unknown 2003-07-02 14:56:50 UTC
When running the presentation application on the secondary monitor of an
extended windows desktop, and you choose to view the slideshow, the slideshow
appears on the primary display instead of the seconday display.
i.e. using a laptop with a data projector, and the windows desktop is extended
to the dataprojector. the presentation is dragged over to the extended desktop
on the projector (which is fine) but when it is viewed as a slideshow, the
presentation appears in full screen mode on the LCD display, not the data
projector

windows xp sp1, on IBM thinkpad G40, intel 82855 graphics GME chipset(driver
version 6.13.1.3485)

Reassigned to Christian.

I don't have such a system so it will take some time to reproduce this
bug.

This is not a bug but a feature.
We should support 'Dual-Head' display.

I just want to confirm the problem for version 1.9.122 :
I'm using a laptop (XP SP2) which is branched to a 19'' LCD monitor in the
extended desktop mode. When opening OO it will always open on the primary screen
(laptop). when draggin the window to the secondary screen (LCD) and then
performing a slide show, the slide show will open on the primary screen.
I can also confirm problems with menus.
In generally extended desktop, with all programs I have used up to now, works
rarely 100%, there are always at least some problems with the menues.
However, with most programs problems can be minimizes when
a) opening the program, dragging the window to the second screen, then exiting
the program. The majority of programs will, when reopened in the same session,
open on the screen where they have been closed, that is here the second screen.
Doing this most of the menu problems disappear.
OpenOffice, however, will always open on the first screen. I gues that is what
creates the problems with the slide show and the menus
