When the user selects the File->Print option and goes into the Options window, 
he is allowed to select the Handouts check-box so that the slides are printed 
as handout.  However, the application determines on its own, the number of 
slides that will appear in each page.  The user should be allowed to select 
this option.

- change to the handoutview (View/Master View/Handout View)
- open the 'Modify Layout' dialog (Format/Modify Layout)
- now you can choose the numbers of slides on the page.
