I have a spreadsheet that worked in an older version of calc but it no longer works properly.

What does "it worked" mean?

And please provide an example so we can try tp replicate.

The problem is the impossibility of freezing both vertically and horizontally.  The example is frozen horizontally but I defy you to freeze the first column without eliminating the horizontal freezing.
