Description JOHN A MARTIN 2023-06-09 19:48:42 UTC
When I CREATED a collage of pictures on ONE page I was able to PRINT it as a pdf file, but when I SAVED the page and REOPENED it, the pictures had MOVED and were SCATTERED over 2 pages. THEN I MOVED the pictures BACK into one page and SAVED it. When I REOPENED it the pictures were once AGAIN scattered in a DIFFERENT pattern into 3 pages, with the last page being blank.
I am doing my autobiography, and have been able to insert SOME pictures into my text, but HAVE noticed occasional movement of pictures, even though they are anchored to a page OR a paragraph, as appropriate.

I tried to send the .ODT file that I am having an issue with.It is one page with scattered pictures that were once close together,as a collage.
It is apparently too large to upload, so I cannot SHOW you the issue. I hope I have described it sufficiently. ALL I can do is send the PDF file, showing what the ODT file SHOULD look like but DOES NOT. It has pictures scattered over 2 pages.

To this kind of document, the best module is Impress or Draw.
Writer is a word processor.
