Windows 10 with apache openoffice version 4.1.13,   when I check for updates it says my version is up to date.  But your site is now up to version 14.  Should be updated about updating.

This is the normal behavior until we update the Update notification.
To avoid heavy download traffic this is always done some days after the release.

Thinking about it:

The "update" text could really be enhanced.

Feel free to open a new issue as "ENHANCEMENT".
Since this would need string changes for all languages the Target Milestone would be 4.2.0.
