Screen capture of popup window

Quick start displays a popup window (attached) and shuts down. The same thing happens attempting to start OpenOffice from the desktop. ArcaOS testlog q:\var\temp\ARCAOS-40ADEE0-20220318-generic.log is available if that would be useful. Config.sys has VIRTUALADDRESSLIMIT=2560. This is on ArcaOS 5.0.7.

There is either o lib in your system missing or a lib not compatible with OpenOffice.

Did you read the Readme and install all libs as described?

Just a quick guess: libxslt might be missing on your system.

BTW: You might want to update to AOO 4.1.11.
Comment 3 Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz 2022-03-18 22:19:03 UTC
 1. I selected the wrong release; it was 4.11.0

 2. The two install files are in the same directory.
Per the OpenOffice readme for OS/2,
that should have brought in all of the prerequisites.

AOO-41110-GA-rpm.wpi 17771824 02/27/22 7:11:36a

I will open an incident with BitWise Works

Did you look for libxslt on your system (using ANPM)?

If it is missing from the rpm-package Bitwise you can add it system-wide.
Comment 5 Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz 2022-03-18 22:57:38 UTC
With libxslr installed I got another error popup, so it looks like there were two dependencies missing from the wpi. After running the yum that was supposed to be unnecessary, everything looks fine. Again, a packaging error in the port, not in your purview. Thanks.

I will close the ticket then.

Thanks for reporting! Maybe it can be fixed for AOO 4.1.12 (not yet released)
