Description Neil Waldhauer 2021-02-04 02:20:42 UTC
Starting with version 4.1.8, charts seem to vanish in the following scenario.

1. Open a Calc file that includes a chart.
2. Edit the chart
3. Save in .ODS format
4. Close Open Office
5. Open the Calc file; the chart is gone

A potential workaround is to save in .XLS format instead

This only affects OS/2; Windows saves the chart as expected.

No we have same issue with MacOS Big Sur
See #128426
Please test dev-build 4.1.9 and give us your feedback

How can I find a dev build for OS/2?

I don't think there is one yet.

However, confirmed on ArcaOS with AOO 4.1.8.

This is present also in current 4.1.10 build. And XLS workaround works too.
Comment 5 Matthias Seidel 2021-05-25 13:54:25 UTC
We had a similar issue in the macOS build.
It was solved by a simple rebuild using a different version of XCode (?).

So maybe it is compiler related or needs some switches.
Comment 6 Yuri Dario 2021-09-03 15:05:56 UTC
This is fixed in latest AOO41X branch, the upcoming 4.1.10 release will contain this fix.
Comment 7 Matthias Seidel 2021-09-03 19:41:50 UTC
Hi Yuri,

please skip 4.1.10, branch AOO41X is already at 4.1.11.
Comment 8 Neil Waldhauer 2021-11-14 04:12:32 UTC
I installed AOO 4.1.11 OS/2 and charts seem to behave correctly now. Thanks to all who made it happen.
