After updating to Big Sur OS 11.0 (from Catalina 10.15) searching within ODS files, whether encrypted or not, causes Open Office 4.1.7 to crash.
It appears that the page cannot index properly.

Open Office is unusable at present.
I will download Numbers from Apple App Store until this issue is solved.

Big Sur is still in Beta!

Have you a date for release of a compatible version as the release of Big Sur is imminent.
I am happy to try a beta version if it will help to iron out any future problems.

MacOS Big Sur is now available since nov. 12, 2020.
AOO 4.1.8 has been released too.
