Description Peter 2020-04-14 09:35:52 UTC
After you create a chart, in the sidepane to the left the chart content is not listed.
Add an Option that activates when a chart in clac is selected that makes it easy to edit the chart.

What do you means by "left".
By default, side panel is right positioned

If I create a chart and get out of it.
I see this in Navigator panel under OLE Objects.

sorry left right confusion.

Seeing is not enough. Target would be to have edit features. Like changing the color of the lines or the diagram type.

I had the issue of adding a trendline. That is quite unfriendly to do. In my opinioon.

But now as you mention it. I see only the OLE Object when I select the diagram, which is strange.

I still don't understand what you means.
Could you send a screenshot to show what you expect?

First Draft for a Mockup to demonstrate the goal.

I drafted a quick Mockup. Maybe you understand with the picture what I am targeting at.

Adding this as meta issue 122257 so that it does not get lost.

Not a defect but an enhancement and change title to reflect this

I come back to this issue. This is real a defect.

Navigator (access by F5 key) show the chart in OLE object.
Sidebar's navigator don't.
You should select the chart to show it.

So sidebar is not refresh correctly when the document is open.

Modified the title to reflect this.
