The application throw and error message about requiring java, and the selected Java is defective

I am not sure how I should figure out the Operating system you are using.

I am using window 10, and I had Java installed, but then I downloaded new Java and is still did not work

Not reproduce with AOO 4.1.7 and Windows 10 x64 Pro edition

Remember that AOO is 32-bit software. So you need logically 32-bit JRE.
