In AOO Calc choose: View > Toolbars > Tools
Tools toolbar appears.

See leftmost icon with tip "Insert".

Click little arrow next to it.

You will immediately spot an icon looking exactly as the one mentioned above.

This is a "smoking gun" evidence for dubious practice in UI design.
UX falls victim to it too. In one place on screen, user sees
two exactly looking icons with different commands assigned to them.

I dismiss argument that dependency and tooltip (be it extended one or simple) shall remove user's doubts. Or that exhaustive information is provided in AOO Help and/or User Guide (who reads them, by the way...).

I'am the user, I do not need confusion. I expect clear-cut message/directions - "a picture is worth a thousand words".
And imagine applying such a practice to design of road signs.

In this context I encourage you to study my relevant post: issue 128312 (Basic IDE command "Object Catalog" needs new icon).
I addressed it to AOO developpers and - AFAIK - I completely failed to convince anyone.
