choose:
View > Toolbars > Zoom  (or Zoom icon on Standard toolbar, click arrow)

Now let's compare tips/extended tips for commands: "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out"

- Zoom In: "Zoom In" & "Displays the slide at two times its current size."
- Zoom Out: "Zoom Out" & "Zoom Out"

In AOO Help there is an entry for Zoom Out command: "Displays the slide at half its current size."

(see attached file "Comparison" with suitable screenshots)


So it seems that when extended tips option is ON, tip for Zoom Out command shall read:

"Displays the slide at half its current size.", as in AOO Help.

Confirmed with AOO 4.1.7 on Ubuntu 16.04.

It seems that the help id for:

.uno:ZoomMinus

is missing from OpenOffice Help.

That was my first guess.

At the moment I am testing differences in Zoom toolbar betweeen
(Calc, Writer) and (Draw, Impress). Some icons/commands are blocked in the first pair, some works oddly (to say the least) in the second pair.

Will report anything only when I'll have sound evidence.
